  1. The Bible.  We believe in the sole authority of the Bible, the Word of God, in all matters of faith and conduct.  Ps. 1:2; 2 Tim. 3:16.
  2. Prayer.  We believe that prayer is an expression of our dependence upon God.  In all that we do, prayer should always take first priority.  Matt. 6:5-13; Acts 2:42; Eph. 6:18-20; Col. 4:2; 1 Tim. 2:1-3; Jude v 20.
  3. Personal Relationship with God.  We believe in the necessity for a personal relationship with God the Father only through His Son Jesus.  John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Jn. 5:11-12.
  4. Evangelism.  We believe that Christ has commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations.  Our commitment to God is to make sure that we have reached the lost with the Gospel of Jesus.  Matt. 28:16-20; Acts 1:8; 2 Cor. 5:17-21.
  5. Small Groups.  We believe in the importance of small groups for Christian growth and support.  We also believe that Christians must be disciple and grow and become Christ like.  Eph. 4:15-16; 2 Pet. 1:5-9; Col 3:16-17; Ps. 119:105.
  6. Culturally Relevant.  We believe in being culturally relevant while remaining biblically sound, to promote a ministry that reflects excellence and teamwork for the glory of God.  Acts 14:8-18; 17:16-31; 1 Cor. 9:19-23; 10:31.
  7. Stewardship.  We believe in the generous use of our possessions in response to God's goodness.  Mal. 3:10-12; 2 Cor. 8:5, 9; 9:7.
  8. Equipping.  We believe that every man and woman should be properly equipped for God's service.  Eph. 4:11-13.
  9. Spiritual Gifts.  We believe in the exercising of our God given gifts for the extension of His Kingdom.  Rom. 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 12; 1 Pet. 4:10-11.
  10. Welcoming.  We believe that the Church should be a welcoming, caring and encouraging community characterised by love.  Hebr. 10:24-25; Acts 2:42-25.


We would encourage all member to:

  1. Read and study the Bible daily for Spiritual growth.
  2. Pray daily and seek to live a godly life.
  3. Know a personal assurance that they are going to heaven.
  4. Be praying for and building friendship with 2 or 3 non-Christians with hope of seeing them won for Christ.  To continually support our link missionaries through prayer and finances.
  5. Be part of a small group where the Bible is taught.
  6. Constantly examine all the practices of our church life so we are both faithful to God and sensitive to our community for the sake of God's glory.
  7. Be generous with all things and to practise liberal/sacrificial giving.
  8. Be training thoroughly in any ministry that they may undertake in serving God and His people.
  9. Find and use their God given gifts in ministry.
  10. Gather each week at a church service to praise God to be encouraged and to serve others.
